Invisalign

Invisalign provides a modern and discreet method to straighten teeth using clear aligners.

When starting your invisalign journey your Dentist will take fast and precise 3D Digital scans of your teeth. They will discuss with you your desired result and what they recommend enabling them to map out a custom treatment plan.

Once your treatment plan is decided you will be provided with your first set of custom aligners. These are made from a flexible material, and are laser trimmed to the gum line for improved comfort. You will need to attend regular appointments with your dentist to check on your progress and to collect your next set of aligners. You are expected to wear your aligners for 22 hours per day to ensure your treatment stays on track.

The length of treatment can take on average 6 months, but this is dictated on how complicated your case is.

Teeth always have tendency to want to move, this is the reason life long retention is recommended to maintain your achieved result. We feel a belt and braces approach to retention is best in the form of fixed retainers placed behind the teeth and removable retainers worn over night.
