MEET THE TEAM

Mr I.Paraskevopoulos BchD Msc RAAD (Johnny) - GDC No. 120478

Dentist - Partner

Tuddenham_Road_Dental_Surgery_Johnny_Paraskevopoulos.JPG

I joined Tuddenham Road Dental Surgery in August 2015, following the retirement of Mr JJ Hoffman. As co-owner I would like to continue providing the excellent care which has become synonymous with this practice.

I started my career in South Africa, where I was born and raised. I obtained my dentistry degree (BchD) at Pretoria University in 2002. I practiced for 5 years in my home country. In 2007, I completed the International Qualification Examination (IQE) held at various dental teaching hospitals across the UK (Guy's and Eastmans in London, Heath hospital in Cardiff). In mid-2008, I moved to beautiful Suffolk with my family. I have been practicing here ever since, mainly in Aldeburgh and Framlingham before moving to Tuddenham Road.

I am passionate about providing good general dental care for my patients and even more passionate about helping them to achieve a smile that they are confident with. My interest in aesthetic dentistry has lead me to pursue post graduate dental studies.

I have completed a 1 year certificate in Implantology, to allow me to treat patients who have lost teeth with a more fixed solution, such as implants.

In May 2015, I obtained a masters degree in restorative and aesthetic dentistry, through the University of Manchester. I was awarded this degree with distinction.

I am often asked why I chose dentistry as a career. I chose this career because I have always been fascinated with biology and medicine and I also enjoy working with my hands- Dentistry is the perfect combination.

I enjoy fishing, swimming, cycling and spending time with my wife and 3 young sons.

Mr W.J.Hendriks BChD - GDC No. 72867

Dentist - Partner

Tuddenham_Road_Dental_Surgery_Willem Hendricks.JPG

I qualified as a dentist at the University of Stellenbosch, South Africa in 1995 after which I worked in Wellington in the Western Cape.

From 1997 to 2010 I worked in a large practice in Bury St Edmunds before moving to Tuddenham Road Dental Surgery.

My career path has led me to develop a special interest in aesthetic and cosmetic dentistry. Creating beautiful healthy natural smiles is at the heart of my passion for dentistry.

In 2008 I completed a certificate course in cosmetic dentistry with the main focus on veneers. The year course was presented by Dr Joe Oliver and Dr Ian Cline of Cosmetic Dental Seminars. They have inspired me to be super critical of the quality dentistry that I produce, always aiming for perfection.

My greatest satisfaction comes from meeting and exceeding my patients' expectations.

Since 2010 I have also equipped myself with the further skill of providing cosmetically focused short term adult orthodontics. The systems that I favour are Fast Braces and Rx Clear Aligners.

I am a member of the British Dental Association, the British Cosmetic Dentistry  Society and a recognised provider of Six Month Smiles orthodontic brace system.

During my time away from the surgery I take part in activities such as cycling, swimming, freediving, underwater hockey, fly-fishing and skiing. As a family my wife, daughter and I enjoy an active lifestyle with as much time spent in the outdoors as possible.

Mr Anis Jaleel BDS (Lond) LDS, RCS (Eng) - GDS No. 61350

Associate Dentist

I joined Tuddenham Road Dental Surgery in January 2020. I qualified as a dentist at The Royal London Dental Hospital in 1986 and have been working now for over 33 years, gaining valuable experience on the way, especially as the owner and director of very successful practice in Loughton, Essex for the last 26 years.

After all those years running a family oriented practice, I would love now just to spend more time treating and talking with patients.

When I am not working, I enjoy badminton, go-karting, Ceroc dancing and going to music festivals while holidaying abroad. I am a passionate animal lover and I couldn't decide between cats and dogs, so now look after 2 Bengal cats and 2 rescue dogs to be equally fair to both species.

Oh by the way, I am an ardent fan of a Premier League football team but you'll have to come along and see me if you're interested in knowing which club.

Also I am now accepting new private patients and NHS children.
